Corten parts for modern, artistic O-Bahn footbridge

Location: Hackney Road, Adelaide, South Australia

DATE: Early 2017

PROJECT: Sonnex provides corten profiles for O-Bahn extension footbridge.

PROBLEM: A specialised structural company was appointed to create a modern, artistic footbridge as part of the $160 million O-Bahn City Access Project. They needed a plate processing company who could deliver accurate parts, on time.

SOLUTION: The large corten panels were laser cut on the Whitney machine, and every step of the process from receipt of drawings to packaging of cut parts follows our ISO9001:2015 procedure for quality assurance.

RESULTS: The team at Sonnex delivered on time to enable our customer to create a beautiful piece of public infrastructure.
